Last 8th and 9th September, the city of Charleroi organized a big popular festival to inaugurate the public spaces of the upper city.
The program included: a big procession, concerts of Mister Cover and Kid Noize, a student ball, a Walloon village and the folklore of the Wallonia Festival.
And to greatly close the festivities, Dirty Monitor made a mapping light and sound show around 20 minutes long on the City hall located "Place Charles II" that transported the audience into a unique temporal travel from the first streak of dawn of the beginning of time up to future, the whole crossing the key moments that shaped Charleroi.
No less than 10 0000 people took part to these two festive days.
