«Gustav Klimt, The Immersive Experience» is an exhibition where digital art meets one of the greatest masters of Art Nouveau: the innovative Austrian painter Gustav Klimt.
A multi-faceted painter, whose work is exposed thanks to magic of immersion with the 360° mapping show full of visual effects designed by the creative team of Dirty Monitor.
The challenge of the team was to get to grips with the universe of the artist and to establish how to interpret it. Because Klimt was a building decorator until he was 35 years old, the creatives decided to replunge visitors in the life of the artist from the point of view of architecture by multiplying the used techniques : 3D reconstitution of buildings on which he worked, 2D and 3D animation...
From the inescapable "Kiss" and the multiple and sumptuous golden backgrounds to views of the lake, passing through vegetal elements, sketches, the most famous series... More than 200 works of Gustav Klimt and the different steps of his life go animated and literally take life in this 360° immersive experience.
This immersive travelling exhibition meant for the general public started to settle at the Horta Gallery of Brussels and Ideal Barcelona before continuing its international tour for th next 5 years.
