AN EXCLUSIVE MEETING BETWEEN DIRTY MONITOR AND SYMPHONY NO. 11 OF CHOSTAKOVITCH
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège contacted our creation studio in order to set up an artistic collaboration around the Symphony No. 11 of Chostakovitch.
We instantly found this new concept attractive and it filled us with enthousiasm. In addition to the opportunity to work together with an orchestra for the first time, it also was the opportunity to give our interpretation of the symphony's story that tells the massacre of russian civilians during the 1905 Revolution.
The project come true on 12th October 2019 at the Philharmonic Hall of Liège bringing a unique immersive artistic experience to life that combined the strength of the sound of the OPRL and the visual magic of Dirty Monitor.
The live mix of our projections punctuated by lights interventions and lasers on the amazing performance of the orchestra has surprised and enchanted the audience.
All along this very special project music has guided us so that our images have been able to reinforce emotions according to our watchword : "enhancing without distorting".
