Charleroi, one of the partner cities of Mons 2015, the European Capital of Culture, sponsored « L’Ancre » theater to organize the event « Smoke on the Water » - an extraordinary show mixing concerts, DJ sets and video mapping – on its « Quais de Sambre ».

We took care of the closing show of the event taking charge of the conception of the whole infrastructure, the coordination of light, lasers, and in collaboration with « L’Ancre » theater, of musicians, but also of the elaboration of the scenography with a masterly arrival of one of the artist in boat.
The latter, Kid Noize, in company of the string quintet, BOW offered the audience a unique live performance lasting 40 minutes brightened up by our video mapping projection, lights design and lasers which took place on the other side of the river on the old mail sorting office of the city.

We used 3 X 2 stacked projectors of 30 000 lumens in order to cover the surface of the building whose façade is 100x20 meters.

The project « Smoke on the water » has been rewarded with a « Beffroi de Cristal » by the city of Charleroi.
